Itinerary
We start the tour with the pick up from different hotels between 8:00 am and 8:30 am, then depart Cusco towards the village of Tipón, there we will visit an archaeological compound from the Inca Period, we will be able to appreciate Tipon’s exceptional irrigation system of vertical and horizontal canals running along Andean terraces. The water comes up from underground, spouts through a fountain, and is distributed through a system of canals. Tipón used to be an important religious and agricultural production center.
Afterward, we will stop in the archaeological complex of Pikillacta, which dates back to Pre-Inca times and was an administrative center of the Wari Empire. Then continuing with the tour we will arrive in Andahuaylillas, visit the solonial church, called as the Sixtine chapel of America, due to the baroque paintings which adorns the ceiling and walls, then return to the hotel
